Music

 Sometimes, I make playlists. I am studying the piano. Music has some role in my life, and I will use this page to try and figure out what that is. 

When I feel the urge to wax poetic or admire a song or music through the written word, I think I will make a general post about it, and I will update this page. At some point, when there are enough posts, they will be organized either by genre of music, like a sane person, or I shall devise my own demented Dewey Decimal system, akin to a record shop.

Sometimes I try my hand at playlists too. I'll share them here, and in each post, I will give a bit of background on the playlist. Not that I think others' will particularly care about what I have going through my head while creating a playlist, but it will be fun for me to go back and examine what the hell I was thinking. 

If there are songs you'd like to share, please comment on this page. I enjoy being exposed to new music, irregardless of genre.

Autumn and Aran

  Happy Fall Readers! I'm using the "Homemade Apple" font in making this post today, I personally love writing in cursive, although mine isn't quite as neat, I think it is apropos to celebrate the recent change in weather! Quite nice, quite nice indeed. Finally, I have had a reason to wear my "fisherman's" cardigan. A long while ago, or perhaps not too long ago, or perhaps even still today, there was a time where fisherman's wives would make them elaborately stitched jackets, vests, sweaters, maybe even socks. There is a bit of a story here, and I feel bold enough to tell it, admittedly only in half-truths.   Fishermen, for those unlearned in the ways of the oceanic occupation, are usually gone for elongated periods of time, doing grueling and sometimes dangerous work. Rolling Right Along

 Plans for this blog. What are they? Be Awesome Write gud Commission (my first ever) profile picture I think I am going to go for an image in which one person, who is doing the typical Scrivener/Scribe pose where they are just sitting at a table with a manuscript, is interacting with the piece or person they are recording. I've seen some antique art where it looks like what I think is an actual scrivener as opposed to a scribe , someone interviewing another person with a funny seated position, and transcribing what they're saying What aspect of The Scrivener do I want to perpetuate through this blog? I feel as though the role is generally a selfless one, in which the information which is recorded is not necessarily  pertinent, but perhaps more apposite. Something that is more about the circumstances than the individual. I think this is appropriate for the theme of this blog.
